Emma Davies unique process juxtaposes her interest in bio-mimicry with the use of non-traditional materials such polypropylene packaging, twines and recycled plastics. Key aspects of Emma’s work investigate and celebrate texture, colour and form. Her interest in the ephemeral is counter balanced with the use of material that is highly durable and mouldable so that a new identity can be created in the form of stills and installation

By removing materials from common functionality such as packaging and being able to transform what is intrinsically ugly into something beautiful.
